Feminist Rage

Feminist rage

is simply a conflict
between a woman’s actions
and her values.

She is afraid
she can’t do
what needs to be done.

If she listens to her rage
and cradles it as a wounded child
she will find the strength
to stand up
with peace and love in her body.

We should honor feminist rage
even though we see that it is very painful.
It is the growing pains
of a woman becoming herself.
