Failing the Exam by Dylan Price

The Wall

Dear Donald Trump,

I see the wall you’ve built. Promises made, promises kept. It’s thick and strong, as wide as this country and as tall as our egos. Mexico is surely paying for this wall. I’m paying for it, paying dearly. You are paying for this wall, though you probably don’t know it

I’ve been studying the wall, contemplating it, and recently I decided to take a few bricks out of my section of wall. Just to see what would happen. To my surprise, a weight was lifted from my shoulders. I didn’t realize I’ve been carrying it on my back this whole time. Now I’ve decided to dismantle the entire section. It won’t happen overnight and it’s been a lot of work, but every piece I manage to remove creates small miracles.

I encourage you to try it too. Take some bricks out and see how it feels, you can always put them back. If you really do it, you’ll be amazed at what happens. Your orgasms will be stronger, your steak will be juicier, and your golf swing will feel like a beautiful act of love. There will be pain too. A lot of it. But you’ll find that even after all these years, your pure and untarnished soul is enough to hold it all. Because after all you too are a blessed child of God.

Love,
Dylan
